Ended up really disappointed. The pandemic must have hit this place hard.
The service was bad enough that I didn't dare eat there. The waitress didn't seem to have a clue about gluten. I told her I knew they didn't have a dedicated fryer and asked if she could help me determine which items would be safe from cross contamination. She pointed out the sal two of the three weren't marked GF and had croutons on them and something else that was also not marked GF. I ended up just ordering a lemonade which was pretty good. My friends got the quesodilla and the polenta and 3x fried potatoes.
They were unimpressed. Not enough vegan cheese in the quesodilla and the potatoes were basically just thick cut fries and only seem to have been fried once. The polenta was okay, the roasted vegetables on top were good, but not amazing. They also lost the ticket for the potatoes so the poor server was wandering around to different tables trying to figure out who ordered them. Hopefully this place will become amazing again with time they got a Michelin star in But our experience was disappointing and I don't think I'll be back any time soon.
Certainly not safe for celiac. Food was fantastic. Had a positive experience here! Wait staff recommended menu items from the fryer and single pans. Oven and grill items have cross contact, so she recommended avoiding burgers and flatbre.
Items most celiac-friendly are: empanadas, brussel sprouts, plantain fries, linguini alfredo, socca, and risotto. My husband and I shared fries, brussel sprouts, socca, and alfredo - pretty delicious! Waitress knew about fryer cross contamination so steered us away from fried gf items. I got sick towards the end of the meal.
The food is good here and I seemed to be ok until dessert and the chicory coffee. If you have Celiac, be very careful as cross contamination was an issue here for me. So filling.
Tempeh bacon tastes like real bacon. Pumpkin cheesecake dessert fantastic. Fabulous food and beautifully prepared and served. The modest interior belies the quality of the food. The gluten free pizza was amazing.
Everything is amazing! I have celiac and have not had any issues. The best hummus! Amazing place with creative vegan options and many gluten free choices! Write a Review.
